Chitosan is a polysaccharide (complex carbohydrate) produced from the chitinous shell of animals with calcareous shells (crabs, shellfish). The use of the formula is recommended as a course (for 3-4 weeks), and it can also be used occasionally before or during a high-calorie meal. During the course, it is very important to have sufficient intake and replacement of fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E, K) and essential fatty acids (e.g. in the form of linseed oil, fish oil).
