Studies prove that hydrolyzed (cut into small molecules) collagen really increases the level of amino acids needed for collagen synthesis in the blood. According to the studies, amounts above 30 mg/kg of body weight are already beneficial, i.e. a 70 kg person should consume at least 3 grams per day if they expect a positive result, but it may be worthwhile to consume much more than the minimum

WHY IS COLLAGEN IMPORTANT?

Unfortunately, our modern way of life today has moved away from the natural, where the concept of "from ear to tail" was self-evident when it came to the intake of animal protein.

A few hundred years ago, when eating an animal, it was completely natural to eat the animal's ears, brain, skin, cartilage, and internal organs, so - without being aware of it - they were doing themselves a lot of good.

Today's people only consume cartilaginous and sinewy parts, mostly the color meat, so the entire protein and amino acid spectrum is incomplete. Jelly, for example, is now only eaten on holidays.

Every 10 grams of meat consumed should be supplemented with 1 gram of collagen in order to create a balance and not shift the amino acid ratio excessively in the wrong direction. According to other calculations, it should account for more than 1/3 of the collagen intake compared to colored meat. Additional important information is that for our seniors (75 years or older) approx. 80% less collagen is synthesized in the skin than when we were younger.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the main building blocks of cartilage tissue, so it can play an extremely important role in recovery from arthritis.

It is able to suppress the production of metalloproteinase, which enzyme is responsible for the damage of the powder tissue, thereby indirectly protecting it, and as a positive end result, it reduces pain.

Hyaluronic acid also has significant water-binding properties, in addition to being able to restore and preserve the texture and beauty of the skin. Another advantage is that it increases the amount of reduced synovial fluid, so it can also be extremely useful in case of cartilage wear.
